When the Twins were born last August, we went into high gear to produce the original Newborn Down Hanky for Bode and Asa. But as soon as everyone experienced the lightweight warmth, we had to “grow” the sizes: See VARIATIONS.

DETAILS

• Fabric: Super-light-weight translucent down-proof nylon 1.1 ounce nylon parachute ripstop.

• Fabric Color: one color - undyed translucent allowing our goose down to display its natural beauty. Plus, because we don’t dye our fabrics, they use no harmful dyestuff chemicals that spoil our environment (see SUSTAINABILITY)

• Insulation: 850 fill-power grey goose down. Nature’s perfect insulation. See VARIATIONS for fill & weight options.

• Quilted Stitching: Zig-Zag pattern stitching in thread colors to hold the goose down in place. See VARIATIONS for options.

• Design: Each Down Hanky blanket has convenient ties at each of all four corners and a loop on every side; in case you want to fasten it to a stroller or adapt to your “van life”, there’s a way to secure them for any use you have in mind.
  

VARIATIONS

• Sizes: The measurements below reflect what we found to be appropriate for each age group - and of course, bed sizes are standard for typical blankets.

• NEWBORN: 36” X 36” square.

• CRIB: 36” X 48” rectangle

• TWIN BED: 45” X 60” rectangle

• FULL: 80” X 90” rectangle

• Quilt Stitching Thread Colors:

• FUNDAMENTAL: matching natural thread color, traditional red and black accents as pictured on sleeve and front.

• FASHION: subtle thread colors in tasteful hues to add a personal touch. Randomly selected by the maker.

• INSULATION: we use super-warm 850 fill power and we offer two VARIATIONS: Temperate (for us on the west coast) or VERMONT (speaks for itself)

• TEMPERATE: sufficient to keep you warm in most areas.

• VERMONT: If you are concerned about warmth, order VERMONT which speaks for itself.
